When most people see a black cat, they automatically think of something bad. Yes, black cats can be beautiful but from the time we were very young children, we were told they were also a sign of bad luck. Personally, I don’t buy into such things but even so, that thought is so ingrained into my mind, I can’t help but give it a passing thought. As you are about to see, however, a black cat is not always looked at in a negative light.
The black cat in this video invaded a rugby match between the Cronulla Sharks and the Penrith Panthers. As it turns out, she was well received by the teams and the fans alike, as she provided a rather needed distraction for the day. As it turns out, the Panthers Lost 26-10 but everyone walked away a winner after the cat showd up.
Although most of us think that the superstition is that black cat means impending doom, it isn’t always that way. The Scots think a black cat meant prosperity and in Japan, they are often considered to be good luck.
